6 bootles box of Alentejo's Red Wine Jornas, coming from 31.3 hectares of vineyards of Herdade do Monte das Serras in Reguendos de Monsaraz, planted on a schistic, slave, and hard land. Once a dry crop, the region now has a dry clime with low precipitation. The influence of hot winds, at the peak of summer, brings small swirls through the vineyard, reminiscing a warm, almost African, environment.
Winemaking: Handly harvest to 15kg boxes. After one rigorous grape selection, the bunches are lopsided and crushed. The alcoholic fermentation takes place for 6 days in inox cubs at 24ºC, followed by the malolactic fermentation. The first stage happens in the inox cubs, and the second one happens in the bottle for 3 months, after bottling.
